Digital Footage Appropriation
A tribut to Dara Birnbaum's Technology/Transformation: Wonder Woman (1978) , this work explores the new representation of female body in the age of AI. Appropriating music videos from ITERNITI, a AI-generated K-pop idol group, alongside footage from The Matrix, this work contests the perception of reality in today's world: when a idealized female body can be endlessly generated and consumed, how do we believe what we see?
